It’s time to Sex up Saturday with another excerpt from God’s Gift 1.
Out with girlfriends, Gina bumps into Sebastian at a Manhattan bar.
She may be trying to appear cool, but Sebastian is oh so hard to resist…

Marissa gives me the full-on impatient look she always does when I won’t give in to her goading. “What’s wrong with you, why wouldn’t you wanna date him?”
“Because we’re co-workers.”
“Yeah, but look at that body: that ass, those biceps − I love a man with strong arms − and those eyes… Mamma mia, he’s practically irresistible.”
“If you think he’s so irresistible why don’t you date him?”
“Because he doesn’t want me.”
“He’s been flirting with you enough.”
“Oooh, do I detect the merest hint of jealousy? You do like him.”
Christ her smug grin is annoying. “So what if I do?”
“Because if you do you should do something about it.”
“Uh uh, not with him. He’s not looking to date, he’s only after one thing. He’s a player.”
“Well of course he is. And why the hell wouldn’t you wanna play with him? Dolce Gesù, just look at him!”
“I’m not looking for a one-night stand, and definitely not with someone I work with. I’m not ruining everything I’ve worked so hard for by getting that kind of reputation.”
“Oh you have got to get over yourself. There’s nothing wrong with the occasional one-nighter. Doesn’t make you a slut. And God knows you need to get laid. How long’s it been since you−?”
“Oh no. I am not discussing my sex life in a crowded bar!”
Marissa sighs. “Oh sweetie. I just want you to have a sex life to discuss. And who better to have one with than him?”
She has a point. This dry spell has been going on two months too long and God knows I’m tempted…
“Well if you won’t with him what’s wrong with Matt’s friends? Ethan’s funny and Jake’s cute.”
I look over at them as they laugh at something Ethan has said. His build is more muscular than Jake’s, but both are my type: dark hair and eyes, both with the same all-American look about them. But it’s the fair-haired, blue-eyed foreigner with his sexy British accent who gets my heart beating faster every time he looks at me.
Jesus, not only am I unwilling to talk about my non-existent sex life, even my thoughts are coy. I sound like a romance novel.
What he gets me is wet. That makes him dangerous and oh so hard to resist … But I know what he is and sleeping with him would quite possibly be the stupidest thing I could do.
